In this conference, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, referring to the long process of issuing building permits, said: According to the law, municipalities must issue building permits within two weeks, especially in dilapidated structures, but the process of issuing permits currently takes an average of eight months. it takes time.

He pointed out the reasons for the prolongation of the issuance of the construction permit and added: the inquiry of the fire department and the green space are two factors for the prolongation of the issuance of the construction permit.

The managing director of Iran’s Urban Renewal Company said about the concern of some people that incentives for the renovation of dilapidated fabric will increase density: 70% of building permits in dilapidated fabric are one-story, two-story, and finally three-story, and only 30% are higher than three stories. And there is no need to worry about this.

Referring to the process of renovation of worn-out fabric, Ayani said: since last year, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Economy, 2700 billion Tomans of credit has been allocated for the renovation of worn-out fabric, and 38 thousand people have been introduced through the Bank of Amel, of which 17 thousand 500 people have received loans. they received.

Pointing out that in all cities, a part of the loan, which is 150 million tomans, is allocated with zero percent interest, he said: This year, we plan to increase this amount to 180 million tomans.

Ayani considered the use of modern housing construction technologies, especially industrialization, to be cost-effective due to the speed and high quality of construction and said: “The government is innovative in supporting the industrialization of housing.”

Also, the representative of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development in the affairs of the National Housing Movement said: In order to speed up the production of housing in the National Movement plan, we invited foreign companies, including European and East Asian ones, to help us by transferring technology.

Referring to the presence of foreign companies in our country, Shahab Saadat Nejad, the head of Tehran Builders Association, said: If the conditions are ready for Iranian builders, there is no need for foreign companies.

He said: “We have both the technology and the ability to industrialize housing, so we only need help and support regarding insurance and taxes.”

At the end of this conference, exemplary builders and activists of the construction industry were honored.
