What does the “rhyme” arrangement say / Death is not the end of a pigeon + movie

According to the visual correspondent of Fars News Agency, Karim Al-Hokhani, whose works of art are focused on contemporary art, especially environmental art, is participating in the 14th Fajr Visual Arts Festival this year with the work of art “Qaf”. This work is presented in the art of arrangement, which includes the arrangement of a large number of wide and suspended cages through which the audience can pass.
Al-Khani told Fars about this: This year, in addition to judging the contemporary art section of the 14th Fajr Visual Arts Festival, he owes a duty to the memory of Dr. Asghar Kafshchian Moghaddam I felt like I had to do it. Undoubtedly, he was a contemporary treasure, and the news of his death upset me or anyone with a prior knowledge of the shoemakers, and he was deeply saddened! Of course, “death is not the end of pigeons.”
He explained how the idea of ”Qaf” layout was formed: I must say that my works are often shaped by the conditions and events of the society and the world in which I live. In my opinion, art, and especially contemporary art artists, can not be indifferent to the events and currents around them, they can be the loud voice of their time. It must have been God’s grace to come up with ideas on a mathematical problem, which is the expansion of volumes, and the subject of reason and logic. But I think if words could express an expression or an effect, I would definitely express my ideas in writing and not give it an arrangement!
Al-Khani continued: The brief explanation I can give for this arrangement is that when the “cage” is expanded in this arrangement, a subconscious invitation is made to a dialogue between the work and the audience, and a kind of call to look at something in the place of art! It is clear that in mathematics the expansion of a volume is done in order to turn it into smaller units, but as you can see in “Qaf” a large number of bird cages have been expanded in different volumes and shapes and in an exhibition space. Can it become a smaller unit? Can a ruler or a measure be given to freedom? “What happens if the content is larger than the container?” These are just some of the questions that may arise in the mind of the audience of this work.
* Art must seek to produce content and thought
He believes: “Today, despite the advanced technology we have in recording and documenting, it is not the job of art to make or re-draw what is.” Art with its expressive capabilities must seek to produce content and thought. In this sense, contemporary art, due to the freedom of choice in the method of execution and the type of approach to the idea, can provide a very wide range for creating meaning.
The 47-year-old artist from Neishabour, in response to how much he paid attention to the audience’s involvement with “Qaf”, said: “I must say that this is all the artist’s effort, but not to the extent that it reduces the multiplicity of ideas from the lower layers of the work.” In general, a work of contemporary art can not be formed without interaction and attention to how the audience, the work and the environment interact. I think these three are the elements that make the sides of a triangle in a work of contemporary art.
Al-Hokhani concluded: “It seems that paying proper attention and originality to the idea is the principle that saves art from objectification thinking, and in this work I tried to use the materials (techniques) and techniques as an excuse to address the meaning and concept.” .
