What movie could the famous author of horror stories not watch until the end?

Stephen King, one of the most famous authors of horror stories, has revealed the name of the only movie he could not finish.

Charso Press: Stephen King is one of the most famous horror writers of all time and many of his books have been turned into classic movies. From books like “Stand By Me” and “The Shawshank Redemption” to “Carrie” and “Misery”.

Since the 1970s when he started publishing books, King has been almost a constant presence in the film and series industry. King is also not afraid to share his opinions on movies, and for years he famously distanced himself from Stanley Kubrick’s popular film adaptation of his novel The Shining.

His Twitter account has long been a hub for sharing the writer’s thoughts on pop culture, and this week, he turned his attention to one of Hollywood’s most famous franchises: Michael Bay’s Transformers movies.

“As an adult, I only stopped watching one sequel: Transformers,” King tweeted. And if there was any doubt as to which Transformers movie the author was referring to, he left no room for doubt: “The first Transformers, directed by Michael Bay.”

While Stephen King’s words were harsh on Michael Bay, Bay may not be completely against the “Shawshank Redemption” author. Bay recently opened up about some of the franchise’s failures, saying he wished he’d walked away from the franchise after directing Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

“I made a lot of them,” Bay said. Steven Spielberg told me not to continue after the third one, and I said I would. The studio begged me to make a fourth one, which sold billions. Then I said that this is enough, but they begged me again. “I shouldn’t have continued, but it was fun making these movies.”

While Bay eventually heeded Spielberg’s advice and stepped away from directing the Transformers movies, the franchise seems to be doing just fine without him. Paramount is planning to launch another trilogy with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is set to be released in 2023. Ron Perlman, Anthony Ramos, Peter Cullen, Luna Lauren Wells, Dominique Fishback and Frank Mars are going to play in this movie.

While it remains to be seen whether the franchise continues to hold the same box office power, it’s safe to assume that Stephen King won’t be buying a ticket for it.
