WhatsApp finally allows you to hide your number

New features and capabilities are going to be added to the WhatsApp messenger. One of the new features of WhatsApp is that you can finally hide your number.
Information about the new features of the WhatsApp messenger has been published. Apparently, the new WhatsApp update will provide users with new and useful features. One of these new features is that you can finally hide your number from other users.
These new features have been seen in the Google Play beta test version. The mentioned feature is currently under development and it is not yet clear whether this feature will be available to all users. The WABetaInfo portal, which usually publishes detailed information about new WhatsApp features, has announced that users will soon be able to hide their phone number from the audience. Of course, this feature is currently only available in certain groups in the Android app.
This option is disabled by default, and if needed, the user must enable it from the settings section.
Hide your number on WhatsApp
As mentioned, this feature is currently under development. The recently published screenshot shows us what the new WhatsApp settings will look like and an option to not display the mobile phone number can be seen at the bottom of this image. It should be noted that messaging like Telegram has long offered the possibility of hiding the phone number by default.
In addition to the possibility of hiding the phone number from the users, other new features will be added to the WhatsApp messenger. WhatsApp developers have added a new feature to this messenger that will allow group administrators to delete any message for all users. This feature is available in version 2.22.17.12 for WhatsApp beta testers on Android. Accordingly, the group administrator who wants to delete one of the messages will see the “delete for all” option. Also, the user’s name will be displayed in the chat bubble during deletion, and everyone in the group will know that he has deleted the message.
Also, WhatsApp has recently added other new features, including increasing the volume of file sharing, silencing the messages of certain users in a group chat, and hiding the last profile picture and online status from the view of selected audiences.
