Research by experts in the field of technology shows that hackers can easily hack a WhatsApp user account with a voice call.
Experts in the field of technology have recently found out that hackers can hack the WhatsApp account of users and view all their messages and contact lists by using a new method and through voice calls.
Hack WhatsApp with a voice call
Rahul Sasi, founder and CEO of digital security firm CloudSEK, recently found that hackers are able to receive automated callback services offered by some mobile service providers with the option of sending a one-time verification code (OTP) via voice call. All user information can be accessed.
Of course, in order to do this, hackers have to convince their intended victim to call a number that begins with the Human Machine Interface (MMI) code. Usually, this number is set by the mobile phone company and is used to activate call transfer.
In fact, if the victim calls this number, all his future calls will be directed to the desired point of the hackers. After making the call, hackers can complete the WhatsApp registration process on their device and receive the OTP via voice call.
