WhatsApp voice messages will get better, but they still won’t reach Telegram

WhatsApp voicemails will be greatly improved with 6 new features coming soon. But what are these 6 features?
In order to improve the WhatsApp voice messaging capability, the company has introduced 6 new features that will be available to all users over time. Of course, some features have been limited to some users for some time, but will be available to all users soon.
New WhatsApp voice messaging capabilities
Six new features of WhatsApp voice messages are:
- Weiss out of chat: This feature allows users to listen to a voice message outside of the sender’s chat page. This is a feature that has long been offered by competing platforms such as Telegram, and in WhatsApp, similar to other times when leaving the chat, a bar for playing voice messages appears at the top of the application.
- Stop and resume voice message recording: You can now stop recording while sending voice messages and resume at the appropriate time. Previously, when you were recording a voice message, there was no way to stop the recording process for a few moments.
- Show voice message waveform: This feature is more of a visual appeal previously offered by Telegram, and actually represents the ups and downs of Weiss power in Weiss.
- Continue playing the message from where it left off: If you pause while listening to a voicemail message, you can resume listening to it later, when you return to the chat, exactly where you left off the message.
- Fast playback of forwarded messages: Previously, fast playback at 1.5x and 2x speeds was offered in regular voice messages, but now this feature will also be available for forwarded messages.
WhatsApp claims that more than 7 billion voice messages are exchanged daily on these messengers. The new features undoubtedly meet a significant portion of users’ expectations, but WhatsApp still lags behind its main competitors in certain features.
