When the Zionist regime cannot bear a program on Press TV

According to Fars news agency, the name of Press TV is tied to Palestine. This is not a secret. From the very first day when Iran’s first 24-hour English-language channel started its work with the slogan “Voice of the Voiceless”, it put the support of the Palestinian movement along with other oppressed people of the world on its agenda.

In the 15 years of Press TV, not a single day has passed without supporting Palestine and the Palestinians. This public support, free of diplomatic and political considerations and bare of Palestine, which was contrary to the existing custom in the media that even carried the attribute of alternative and non-mainstream, of course, was not without cost and the long story of fine and coarse restrictions created for this network. It is not hidden from anyone.

But the culmination of this mission, which was the result of 15 years of unparalleled experience of this network in supporting the Palestinian people, came to the fore at the beginning of this year.

“Palestine declassification” program

A name that has become a painful word for Zionists and supporters of Israel today, less than a year after its broadcast. You will see later that this is not an exaggeration.

But how did “declassification of Palestine” target the heart of Zionism?

The best defense is attack!

The idea and philosophy of producing this program was seemingly simple. The centrality of placing and exposing the Zionist currents and movements against Palestine and its supporters. This was not only the defense of Palestine, but a precise and calculated attack on the most ruthless anti-Zionist movements, which is less supportive of Palestine than it has been under their knife. This time, instead of putting the current custom of pro-Palestinian movements in the headlines to defend the oppressed people of this country, Palestine drew the sword of “desecration” for the Zionist movements. He left Palestine, came to the heart of Europe and targeted the throbbing pulse of the Zionist currents where it should be.

Supporters of Palestine are not only Arabs and Muslims.

Permanent expert and one of the producers of “Declassified Palestine” is David Miller. A familiar name in English academic circles. David Miller, a former professor at the University of Bristol, England, was expelled from the university last year due to his anti-Zionist positions and following the continuous pressure of Zionist groups.

A few months after this expulsion, this well-known anti-Zionist figure started his work with “declassifying Palestine”. The beginning of the work which, according to him, caused the Zionists to regret expelling him from the university. Those who sought to take the podium from David Miller, so that his anti-Zionist positions would not be heard, now faced a greater challenge. Now Miller had a platform to share his detailed and well-reasoned research against Zionist movements.

In less than a few weeks, another name was added to the program as its new presenter, who had also tried hard to remove him from the British political current: Chris Williamson, a former member of the British Parliament and a well-known supporter of Palestine in the country’s political circles. .

In addition to these two famous figures, the weekly guests of the program have generally been well-known people in the solidarity movement with Palestine. From Loki, a well-known English rapper, Asa Westenley, a reporter, and Hoda Amouri, the founder of the Palestinian Action Movement, to Ghada Karami, a prominent Palestinian writer, Jackie Walker, a well-known English activist, Ramzi Barood, a Palestinian-American journalist, and Nora Burrows-Friedman, a presenter. The reporter was one of the weekly guests of this program.

Declassified Palestine, with its weekly broadcast and presence on social networks, was well fulfilling its mission in targeting Western Zionist movements and organizations.

But the Zionists did not sit idle

Their work first started with abuse and insults to the program staff. In such a way that they published pieces of the program on their accounts along with insulting and making baseless accusations against the participants and guests of the program.

The work is not finished here. In the next step, the program’s YouTube channel was closed. The CST group, which is under the banner of an English charity, is completely in the service of the Zionist regime, and its secret activities in “Declassification of Palestine” have been revealed many times, took responsibility for this action in a tweet, and wrote that YouTube’s action was taken following the complaint of The organization took place from “Declassified Palestine”.

In the next step, the Twitter social network added the tag “media affiliated with the Iranian government” to the program’s account on this social network.

But what does this label mean? With this action, in the appearance of Twitter, it assumes a gesture of transparency, but in practice, the ultimate goal is to limit the audience and prevent the content of the desired page from being published. So that after receiving this tag, if someone intends to retweet (repost) or even like your content on Twitter, they will be warned. Unlike the original mode of Twitter, which are played automatically, the videos published on the page have been disabled and the video will not be played until the audience clicks on the “play” icon. Yes! Label affiliated with the Iranian government in appearance, and severe restrictions on the publication of program content in virtual space in practice!

Republishing the content of the program regularly by its presenter and producers, who are well-known figures and have thousands of followers on Twitter, was considered another danger for the supporters of the Zionist regime. Therefore, in the next step, their account was labeled as “Iranian state-affiliated media” and the same restrictions were imposed on their account.

Imagine! The former member of the British Parliament is now called “the media affiliated with the Iranian government” because of his support for Palestine.

The common denominator of all these attacks on the “Palestinian declassification” program is the use of the fabricated charge of anti-Semitism. An accusation that the guests of the program have consistently refuted and rendered ineffective with logic and have given many explanations on the difference between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. This is something that the Zionist groups themselves are well aware of, and that is why Twitter, despite all the restrictions it has imposed against the program, has not yet been able to completely close the program’s page on the pretext of anti-Semitism. In fact, these accusations are so baseless that Twitter itself had to resort to other excuses such as “dependence on the Iranian government” in order to satisfy the Zionist groups in limiting the program.

All these actions have not quenched the anger of the Zionist groups. Apparently, they won’t rest until the show, which hasn’t even been on air for a year, is completely shut down.

The work has now reached the point where little by little the more well-known figures who support the Zionist regime have also taken action and are writing against the “declassification of Palestine” program.

For example, Adam Milstein, a well-known capitalist who supports the Zionist regime, has also taken action and in a tweet, by publishing a fragment of the “Declassification of Palestine” program, he has considered Iran behind other successful anti-Zionist movements!

The “Israeli War Room” account has also reached the ground with more than 60,000 followers, and by publishing a subtitled episode of the program “Declassification of Palestine” (something that the people involved in their program have not done so far), Iran is a sponsor of a nascent project against Zionism in America has stated.

The work has even gone beyond Twitter accounts, and well-known Zionist media such as “Jewish Journal” and “Jerusalem Post” have also cried out about the Palestinian declassification plan.

These were only a part of the many Zionist attacks on the “Declassification of Palestine” program; Attacks that will definitely continue because “Declassified Palestine” will continue to fulfill its mission, which it has clearly succeeded in, with more power and motivation.

In the end, we will limit ourselves to a quote from David Miller, the producer of the Declassified Palestine program, who said: “They target those who they perceive to be a threat to their activities, and I’m glad about that.”
