He added: There is still a dispute on the principle of equity shares, the trading regulations of equity shares are also being reviewed, and so far 2-3 meetings have been held regarding equity shares in the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange, but no results have been reached yet.
A member of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange said: A meeting of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange will be held on Tuesday, August 31, but the issue of equity shares has not yet been put on the agenda.
Abdullahi said about whether the equity dividend this year will be two-stage or one-stage: We have not reached a conclusion on this issue, but most of the equity investment companies are profitable and will recognize profits for the shareholders.
Last week, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Khandozi, in response to a question about how to pay equity dividends, stated: It depends on the performance of investable companies that if they deposit the profits earlier, we will pay equity dividends sooner.
An informed official in the Central Depository Company announced: 29 of the 36 listed companies in the Adalat stock portfolio have so far held a general assembly, of which 25 companies have identified profits that must be paid by their shareholders, including Adalat shareholders, and four companies have been without profit. And the general assembly of the rest of the companies should also be held, and according to the season of holding the assemblies, within the next week or two, the task of the rest of the companies will be clarified.
This knowledgeable official said: The Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange must decide how and with what mechanism the equity dividends will be paid to the shareholders, which the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange has not yet concluded.
Adalat shares belong to 49 million Iranians in 49 companies, including 13 non-listed companies and 36 listed companies, and the profit for the fiscal year 1401 should be aggregated and deposited into the accounts of Adalat shareholders through the central depository company.
