According to Ekhtaz Online, quoted by Tasnim, Seyyed Mehdi Niazi, Deputy Minister for Commercial Affairs of the Ministry of Security, sent a letter to the Central Bank, requesting to remove the blocking of the representative account of the support organization upon the request of the applicants.

In this letter, it is emphasized that “as you mentioned, the process of registration of imported and domestically produced cars was determined, the applicants opened a representative account in the name of Consumers and Producers Support Organization and according to the decisions made, in cases where the applicants, for any reason, do not want to continue the process of buying imported cars Or the plan to sell domestic cars through the integrated system of car sales should be abandoned, and all operating banks should take action to unblock the accounts of these people.

This issue has been communicated to all the banks through various letters and subsequently it has been announced to the deputy supervisor of the Central Bank. Unfortunately, despite the aforementioned correspondence and the emphasis made on the necessity of respecting the rights of individuals and removing the blocking of individuals’ accounts after the announcement of withdrawal and or the applicant’s written request, some operating banks have refused to release the mentioned accounts and sometimes, in justification of this issue, they have announced the lack of action by the central bank, which has led to dissatisfaction and receiving numerous complaints in this regard.

Therefore, in order to prevent compatriots from going astray and to speed up related matters, please order to notify the relevant banks and inform them of the results of this ministry’s action.
