Which areas of Tehran are threatened by collapse? – Tejarat News

According to Tejarat News, the mayor of Tehran announced that 44 neighborhoods in Tehran are in danger of collapsing.

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, at the specialized meeting of the elected members of the thinking board of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization, while expressing his condolences on the martyrdom days of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) and the Bam Earthquake anniversary, said: We must find solutions for the accumulated problems of Tehran, which we are the inheritors of. Let’s think that it will be comprehensive and solve all our problems together.

He stated that traffic, air pollution, unstable and worn-out fabric, ravines, faults and wear and tear of infrastructures have led the situation to a direction where we need to plan and move in the right direction to reduce the problems and have a dynamic and lively society. , added: Accordingly, in our collection, we are thinking of four transformations, the first of which is the transformation of the municipality from a mere service institution to a social service institution, so that this institution becomes the source of the effect. In this regard, we have made our own management a participatory management in order to advance issues together and in a coordinated manner with the people, elites, institutions and influential places of the city.

Zakani pointed out that we made the second development regarding the body of the city in order to solve the problem of worn out structures and the problem of bad housing and homelessness and many of these issues, he continued: All these issues will be solved in the form of city renewal based on public transportation. We are following, that is, we have to convert 12 thousand unstable tissues into a habitable tissue with seven per capita supplies, and accordingly, we are collaborating and consulting with various institutions; For example, we are consulting with education about housing for teachers and helping to build schools, because as an example, region 22 has a poor educational environment and action should be taken in this regard.

The mayor of Tehran added: The third transformation is the soft transformation, which is changing the lifestyle and creating a participatory environment so that the city administration is based on the participation of the people and elites. In this development, we are looking for the affairs of the city to be carried out with the participation of the people, and after that, the administration of the people will be based on the elites, which, of course, we are far from that point. In fact, in this regard, education and accountability are definite things that we are far from. For example, durability groups can be considered a beginning in this field. We must be active in giving role to people. Also, in relation to the projects, we have entrusted the neighborhood priority to the opinion of the people.

Stating that technological transformation is another important transformation to create a smart city, he said: There is confusion in the development of the city, which we should have a redesign about, for example, it was said in this meeting that there are 44 neighborhoods that are in danger of collapsing. They are located on a slope. Based on this, in the commission of Article 5, we follow that if a structure is formed on the circuit of a fault, the rules must be followed. If there is such a risk, this compliance with the rules will be affected by another factor, and this issue should be dealt with more seriously.

According to the city website, Zakani said at the end: The knowledge of these works is at your disposal and we must protect the foundation of science and knowledge and implement it. We hope to join hands and bring others along so that we can carry out professional work in urban management by relying on people of science and knowledge and consider the issue of safety in Tehran.
