The head of the cinema organization continued by referring to the situation and trend of activities in the cinema during the last two years and stated: Certainly, without the revival of cinema and reaching the normal conditions of the cultural business, it is impossible to talk about ideals and aspirational words.

He added: “When we took over the cinema organization, the cinema was not in good condition, and one of the main reasons for that was the corona virus and its harmful consequences, which led to the closure and stagnation of most businesses, including cinemas.” On the other hand, investors did not want to invest in this field because they often believed that cinemas are bankrupt and will not prosper soon. That is, the country’s cinema is on the verge of closure. In such a situation, every manager should plan to save this cinema from absolute bankruptcy.

According to him, today the prosperity and development of cinema has taken place and we are witnessing records in various fields of construction, infrastructure and sales. We should have revived the economy of the cinema first, and then discuss the other more basic requirements and needs of this cinema.

The head of the cinema organization stated that in the past 40 years, the current attention to filmmaking in the provinces has been unprecedented, and said: Provincial cinema is our native identity and we believe that the cinema industry in the cities should be strengthened even more. Today, our provincial filmmakers shine in festivals, and by reviving the cinema industry in these areas and other necessary measures in the field of provincial cinema, folklore (native or local), we can strive to revive this effective art in the society as much as possible. Because we believe that there are many gems in the cities that have never been looked at seriously.

Regarding the comedy genre movies currently being released, he said: the best-selling movies in the cinema have always been comedies, and this choice comes back to the type of audience, social conditions, and such issues, the best-selling movies in all eras have always been comedy movies The genre of comedy is accepted by society all over the world. On the other hand, people like to see heroes in movies, and our cinema has moved away from “hero-centered” for various reasons. We must revive hero-centered cinema. In another part of his speech, he mentioned the subject of audience research for a filmmaker and stated: The flow of audience research in cinema is serious. We must pay attention to all the socio-cultural characteristics of the society and all the necessary components of the production of the work.

He added: Also, our view of the cities has become serious, I visited and talked with artists in more than 70 cities, the budget of the youth cinema is 70 to 30 in favor of the provinces and cities, all the offices of the youth cinema are equipped. The bylaws of the provincial production license have been compiled and will be announced soon, this license is designed to revive local cinema and national identity cinema.

Khazai stated that he believes that we have many gems in the cities and called the revival of provincial filmmaking as an important strategy of the cinema organization.
