Car market activists say that the price of the 2014 Santa Fe had reached one billion tomans in the past two weeks, but with the rejection of the approval to import this car, it will be traded at a price of one billion and 150 million tomans.
Car imports were not canceled!
Was the import of foreign cars eliminated forever? The secretary of the Association of Car Importers replied: The reason for the high price of Iranian and foreign cars is not the elimination of car imports. Rather, the car market has reacted to the uncertainty passed by the parliament.
Mehdi Dadfar, referring to the situation in the car market, explained: This car import decree will be implemented sooner or later. These days, how it is implemented by the government is the concern of importers. This resolution will probably be implemented in February and March, and people can benefit from this resolution from February.
He said: “Everyone knows the positive effects of the car import decision.” Negative effects have also been examined. Therefore, this time, this decree will be implemented better than before, but if this decree is not implemented by the end of the year, the situation will be chaotic and will have serious consequences for the car market.
Is the car import ban serious?
Some importers say that the implementation of this decree has no effect on the poor sections of the society, but the secretary of the Automobile Importers Association denied this claim and said: this claim is not true. By importing small class cars, quality cars can be provided to the people.
These days, whispers of the continuation of the car import ban have become more serious than before. The world of economics also wrote in a report: “Considering the reversal of the resolution between the Guardian Council and the parliament, it has been speculated that the said resolution will not be able to pass through the neck of the Guardian Council and become law. “So we may see the car import route to the country being blocked.”
