Why did the income of the stock exchange organization decrease?


According to Tejarat News, in June last year, after numerous and lengthy criticisms from the market activists, and according to the resolution of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange, for the first time, the stock exchange organization agreed to publish the annual financial statement for 99. However, the second consolidated and separate audited financial statements of the subsidiaries and related to the financial year ending in March of last year were exposed. Now the latest financial statement of the stock exchange organization has been published.

The supervisory role of the stock exchange organization decreased

According to this report, a 52 percent decrease in the organization’s income due to the decrease in the monitoring fee for stock and over-the-counter transactions, an increase in human resources costs from 88 to 159 billion tomans due to the recruitment of workers, and a 92 billion toman drop in income due to deposits in banks, among other points. The new financial statements of the capital market supervisory body are important.

One of the most important issues of this financial statement is the reduction of two thousand billions of income of the organization. This income is obtained by monitoring the stock and over-the-counter transactions. Due to the decrease in transactions, the value of this income also recorded a decrease of 52%.

Based on this financial statement, the organization’s share of stock and over-the-counter trading fees increased from 1636 billion tomans to about 503 billion tomans. However, the organization’s share of fees from Commodity and Energy Exchange transactions increased from 172 billion tomans in 2009 to 298 billion tomans in 1400.

On the other hand, the share of paying salaries and benefits has also increased. In the last days of the government change and the new government taking office, 176 personnel were recruited in this organization. It means the increase of contractual and temporary personnel from 369 to 547 people. Also, the number of contractor personnel decreased by 110 people to 38 people, with this account, the total number of personnel of the organization was equal to 585 people last year.

The payment of salaries, benefits, overtime, holidays, bonuses and labor of the organization’s employees increased from 88 billion tomans in 2009 to 159 billion tomans in 1400.
