Will the increase in government fees from the place of trucks / transport bill of lading become more expensive?

According to Tejarat News, the head of the Roads and Transportation Organization, in a letter to the Association of Employers’ Unions of Institutions and Companies for the Internal Transport of Basic Goods, announced an increase in tolls.
It is said that from January 3, tolls for moving goods will increase from 4% to 9%. Truckers believe that rising toll prices will eventually lead to fluctuations in freight rates.
Will freight change?
“For 12 years, the tolls on the trucks have been fixed and about four percent was received,” said the secretary of the Association of Trade Unions of Drivers. According to a government decree, tolls on moving goods are set to increase. This price increase has little effect on higher freight rates or inflation.
Hashem Mazaheri explained to Tejarat News: The only source of income for the road organization is to receive tolls. Due to the condition of the roads, the government has taken measures to obtain resources to improve the country’s road conditions.
“A meeting will be held next week with the government and private sector representatives in the Chamber of Commerce,” he said. We do not disagree with the principle of the issue, ie receiving tolls, but we offer suggestions in this regard.
Mazaheri said: the government fee has not been increased yet due to the trucks’ bill of lading. That is, it will not be implemented until this issue is legalized and approved.
The government did not provide any services to the truckers
On the other hand, Reza Khademizadeh, the president of the drivers’ union of the country’s passenger fleet, said: “This price increase from the place of loading of trucks still has no legal basis.” Due to the fact that in the past, drivers of trucks and buses were charged tolls, but they did not provide any services to us.
Apparently, in order to increase the government’s wages, the employers ‘association and transportation companies are criticizing this decision from the place of the trucks’ bill of lading. They believe that increasing the toll rate for the bill of lading will eventually lead to an increase in shipping prices.
