Will the price of Tiba and Saina double? – Tejarat News

According to Tejarat News, the spokesperson of Saipa announced the suspension of the production of Saina, Tiba and Tiba 2 and said that the production of these cars will be stopped after the numbering and delivery of the remaining obligations. Probably, stopping the production of these three cars will increase their prices, because this happened with Pride.
Tiba and Saina worth 400 million tomans?
Pride, which was once known as the car of low-income families, has now become the dream of many sections of the society. When Saipa decided to stop producing the Pride, this car met with more luck. Because in the conditions of sanctions and the lack of supply and demand in the car market, stopping the production of economic cars not only did not reduce its price, but also increased it.
The last pride was in the first half of 99. At the end of the same year, the price of Pride was about 100 million tomans, some models of this car were more than 100 million tomans. But in the last 2 years, Pride has seen prices of more than 200 million tomans. This means that the price of this so-called economic car doubled within two years.
Based on the announced prices of the wall, currently the latest Pride series produced is 186 million Tomans. That is, in the last two years, the price has increased by 86 million tomans, equivalent to 86%.
This is the fate of stopping the production of an economy car without replacing it. It is not unlikely that by stopping the production of Saina and Tiba, after two years the price of the two products, which is now around 200 million tomans, will reach 400 million tomans.
Domestically produced cars are behind schedule
The stoppage of the production of these three cars takes place in a situation where car manufacturers are behind this year’s production schedule. One of the slogans of the head of the 13th government was the annual production of 1.6 million cars. A promise that the Minister of Silence also emphasized.
This year’s program is designed for car manufacturers to produce 1 million and 600 thousand cars, of which 1 million and 400 thousand cars will be based on domestic platforms. In this regard, a share of 750,000 units has been considered for Iran Khodro and a share of 650,000 units for Saipa.
That means, in the first half of the year, Iran Khodro must have produced about 375 thousand units and Saipa 325 thousand units. But the statistics do not confirm this.
In the first six months of this year, Iran Khodro Industrial Group has produced 256,690 units. Also, Saipa Automobile Group has produced 158 thousand 18 vehicles in the first six months of this year.
In fact, Iran Khodro is 32% behind its 6-month plan. Saipa’s backwardness rate is more than 51%.
Also, 125 thousand and 308 vehicles of the X200 family (including Tiba, Saina and Quick) are among Saipa’s total production. That is, in a situation where at least 80,000 vehicles produced by Saipa are related to 2 types of Saina and Tiba, its production is supposed to be stopped.
Will the imported car take the place of Tiba and Saina?
While it is said that the production of Saina and Tiba will be stopped, the replacement car program has not been announced yet. The only change in the car supply side in the market is related to imported cars. A matter that has not yet been implemented after 6 months.
According to the promise of the deputy minister, 90,000 vehicles are to be imported by the end. Assuming the implementation of this promise, imported cars cannot replace Tiba and Saina, they can eventually cover the market of high-priced automobiles, which seems unlikely due to the small number of them.
