With the agreement of the President, the restoration credits of Isfahan’s historical monuments will increase next year

According to the report of Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Isfahan Province, Engineer Ezatullah Zarghami said today, Thursday, December 9, 1400, referring to the large number of historical monuments in Isfahan: “Its 2,000 works are in Isfahan province alone.”

The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts continued: “Due to the limited budget for the restoration of historical monuments, during my provincial trips and visits to these monuments, I came to the conclusion that the current budgets do not provide enough protection for these valuable monuments. “Therefore, last night, together with the Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, in a meeting with the President, while presenting a report on the current state of historical monuments, I stressed the need to increase restoration and protection credits in order to fulfill the legal duties of the Ministry of Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.”

“With the approval of the President, the budget for the protection and restoration of the country’s historical monuments will increase next year,” he continued.
