World Boxing Championship; Maghsoudi and Mousavi were eliminated



According to IRNA, the World Boxing Championships started on Monday last week in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and will continue until November 6th.

This evening (Monday) in the continuation of these competitions, Shahin Mousavi in ​​the weight of 75 kg was against Koine Schumen from Germany and lost.

Mousavi had nothing to say in the first and second rounds, and although he took the third round from his opponent, he lost overall to be eliminated from the competition. Shahin had previously beaten boxers from Kyrgyzstan and Guyana.

Earlier, Moslem Maghsoudi (67 kg) faced Lasha Goroli (Georgia) and conceded defeat. In the previous stages, Maghsoudi had defeated the representative of South Korea after a break.

At around 23:15 tonight and on the A ring, Meysam Gheshlaghi in the weight of 80 kg will compete with Aliaxia from Belarus.

Gheshlaghi had a break in the first round and then defeated the Chinese Taipei representative in one minute.

The Iranian national team has participated in the World Championships in Serbia with 10 boxers and led by Alireza Esteki.

Homayoun Amiri, Mahmoud Nehtani and Shahram Fateh are the other coaches sent to these competitions.
