World Women’s Handball Championship | Our national team did not face the African champion

According to Fars News Agency, in the continuation of the World Women’s Handball Championship and in the President’s Cup of Iran, the Iranian women’s national team lost to the African champion Angola.

The Angolan players, with their high physical strength and large bodies, put pressure on the Iranian players from the beginning of the match.

The first half of the match, which started at 17:30 tonight (Saturday), ended with a result of 24_4 in favor of Angola. From the beginning of the second half, the Angolan team played in the offensive and power play phase (game without a goalkeeper) and put pressure on Iran again.

In the end, the game ended 8-41.

The highlight of this match was the selection of Fatemeh Khalili as the best player on the field.

Angola, who have competed 16 times in the World Championships and six times in the Olympics, took the ball from the beginning with their higher experience, and the Iranian national team, which experienced its first appearance in the World Championships, did not face the African champions.

Students of Ezatullah Razmgar and Khadijeh Ghaneh will face Cameroon on Monday, December 13th, in their third match in the President Cup and their last match in the World Championship from 20:00.
