Xiaomi 12 Series will likely be equipped with a curved display and symmetrical speakers

Xiaomi will probably unveil the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X on December 16th. One of the new phones will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 generation 1 chip and the other will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870. Now marked both phones from Curved display get benifits.

A market-aware source with the username Digital Chat Station announced in a post on the Chinese social network Weibo that both of Xiaomi’s new phones with curved screens will be launched. Last year, the Xiaomi May 11 had a flat display, and the May 11 Ultra had a curved display. In addition, both the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X come with symmetrically arranged speakers. There are apparently stereo speakers at the top and bottom of the phone.

On the May 11 Ultra, we saw the use of asymmetrical speakers, with the top left and the bottom right. The Xiaomi 12 is rumored to feature an OLED display with a high refresh rate and 2K resolution. The chip of the Snapdragon 8 device will be the first generation, which has support for 120 watt wired charging.

In the camera section, we will see the main 50-megapixel sensor of the Samsung GN5. The handset also comes with three other 48-megapixel units, at least one of which is expected to have an ultra-wide lens and, like the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, offer a maximum magnification of 120x for still images. This rate is up to 15 times higher for videos.

According to a source familiar with the market, Xiaomi 12X uses a 6.28-inch OLED display with a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10 technology and a fingerprint scanner under the display.
