Xiaomi 14 will probably be the first phone in the market with Snapdragon 8 generation 3

Xiaomi will unveil the new generation of its flagship phones in the Chinese market before the end of this year. Now a new report has claimed that Xiaomi 14 will be the first phone on the market with Qualcomm’s 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 flagship chip.

Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip in October (early November) during the Snapdragon Summit 2023 event. After that, we should see the introduction of the MIUI 15 user interface based on Android 14 and finally the Xiaomi 14 series will arrive. In fact, we expect the Xiaomi 14 series to be introduced in November with the stable version of the MIUI 15 user interface.

A recent report points to the correct timeframes. We have known for a long time that Qualcomm is looking to introduce the next generation of its flagship chip in late October. It should be noted that the Xiaomi 13 series were not the first phones on the market with the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip, and this title went to the Vivo X90 Pro Plus. However, we expect the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro to be the first phones on the market with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

According to reports, Snapdragon 8 3rd generation will be equipped with a powerful Cortex-X4 core, five Cortex-A720 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores. This chip should compete with Mediatek Dimension 9300 in the market; The said chip will not have low-power cores.
