Yazd is a leader in forming specialized tourism tables

Aria Heritage Report According to the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, on Thursday, May 1, a symposium of specialized tourism committees of Yazd Province was held by the Office of Domestic Tourism Development. .

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, emphasizing the need to continue activities aimed at diversification and development of domestic tourism, considered the measures taken so far useful and considered the reason for choosing the province as a pilot of specialized tables as a result of remarkable performance of various tourism sectors.

The cleric also noted the need to hold events throughout the year and called for suggestions.

He also referred to the events related to the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, adding, “These events will be held in cooperation with the specialized committee for food tourism.”

Explaining the Hasht Yazd Festival and the International Exhibition of Handicrafts in May of this year were other topics that were discussed in this meeting.

Establishment of specialized tourism tables with the aim of organizing activities under national federations and with the membership of specialized tourism committees is one of the projects of the Internal Tourism Development Office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which will be piloted in Yazd and Golestan provinces and the result can be generalized across the country.

Relevant agencies, experts and tourism activists will become members of specialized tables according to the relevant instructions, and the officials of 15 tourism tables across the country will become members of specialized federations.

At present, 22 specialized tourism committees have been formed in Yazd province, which will assist in the membership and formation of specialized tables.
