Youth housing loans reached 4 billion – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, the supervisor of Maskan Bank explained the conditions of payment of youth housing savings account facilities for those opening in 1402.

Ali Askari stated that the ceiling of youth housing facilities for those opening in 1402 has been increased, he said: the ceiling of facilities granted for opening in 1402 and in different regions of the country and in proportion to the deposit amount has been accompanied by changes, this amount in the fifth year in The city of Tehran will be 16 billion Rials, in the centers of provinces and cities with a population of over 200,000, it will be 14 billion Rials, and in other areas it will be 12 billion Rials.

He continued: After 15 years, the ceiling of related facilities will be 40 billion Rials in Tehran, 34 billion Rials in provincial centers and cities with a population of over 200,000, and 28 billion Rials in other areas.

He said: The minimum amount for opening a youth housing savings account in all geographical regions of the country is 8 million rials, and if the depositors want to benefit from the facility ceiling, they should deposit more amounts based on the existing guidelines.

Previously, in 1401, with the approval of the Central Bank, the minimum deposit amount for youth housing loans was increased from 200 to 400 thousand tomans and the limit of the mentioned account facility from 1 billion tomans, 850 and 700 million tomans were set for the year 1400 to the amounts of 2, 1.7 and 1.4 Billion Tomans in 1401 increased respectively in Tehran, provincial centers and cities with more than 200 thousand population and other urban areas, for the opening accounts of 1401.

Currently, the average price of each square meter residential unit in Tehran city has reached about 60 million Tomans, and with a loan of 4 billion Tomans, you can buy about 66 square meters of residential units, of course, on the condition that the average housing price remains constant in 1417! Considering this issue, it seems that the new program of Housing Bank to increase the loan limit does not have much effect on the purchasing power of “youths”.
