According to Tejarat News, Alireza Zakani today, the 3rd of October, in the rite of digging of the residential complex of the professors of Sharif University of Technology in the town of Sharif University of Technology, located in the 22nd district of Tehran, which was attended by the mayor of Tehran, Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economics of the president and Rasool Jalili, President of Sharif University of Technology and a group of academic staff members of Sharif University, added: The residential complex of Ustadsara of Sharif University of Technology in the town of Sharif University has an area of ​​about one hectare.

Referring to the plans of Tehran municipality to build housing for university professors, the mayor of Tehran said: We signed a memorandum of understanding with 8 universities of the country to provide 25,000 housing for professors. 1000 residential units have been considered for the National Elite Foundation.

He further stated: Approvals for providing housing for two universities were obtained from the Article 5 Commission with a capacity of 4,000 units, and the case of three other universities is also under review. Our effort is to speed up the housing program for professors.

500 faculty members of Sharif University will become house owners

Rasool Jalili, the president of Sharif University of Technology, stated in this ceremony: In late November 1401, a tripartite memorandum was signed in the presence of the mayor of Tehran, the scientific vice president and the National Elite Foundation in the field of housing for professors. Efforts have also been made to finance it from the National Elite Foundation and the Scientific Vice-Chancellor, which fortunately was approved.

He emphasized: 500 faculty members are working in Sharif University, and with the construction of this project, all our faculty members will own housing.

Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy of the President and Head of the National Elite Foundation, who broke ground on the construction of Sharif University, said: “The issue of housing is the biggest concern of a young professor, and we hope that with the effective action of Sharif University of Technology and with the efforts It is the desire of Tehran Municipality, in this regard, to help young professors who need support so that they can be more effective with peace of mind. For our part, we will do our best in Sharif University of Technology and other universities so that this project, which can pave the way for the next projects, comes to fruition soon.
