Zelensky made a bet for negotiations with Russia

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, after meeting with a delegation of African heads of state in the capital of Ukraine, the president of Ukraine said that negotiations with Russia are possible after the country’s withdrawal from the occupied territories.

Zelensky stated in this press conference that he does not know what the meeting of African leaders with Russian President Vladimir Putin will achieve. “It’s their decision, how logical it is, I really don’t know,” he said.
After meeting with Zelensky, the members of the African delegation went to Russia and met with the Russian president. The meeting was held at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Saint Petersburg, and the two sides discussed the African initiative for a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis.
In this meeting, Putin said that we are trying to strengthen relations with African countries based on non-interference in other people’s affairs. Referring to the issue of Ukraine and the grain agreement, he said that the development of relations with Africa is a priority for Russia.
Welcoming Africa’s balanced position regarding the Ukraine crisis, the Russian President said that Moscow is ready for dialogue to resolve the Ukraine crisis. He continued: “Problems in Ukraine arose after the illegitimate and bloody coup of 2014, which was supported by the West” (details More).
