Zionist militants arrested six Palestinians in the West Bank



According to IRNA, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the occupying forces raided the cities of Jaba, Al-Silah Al-Harithiya and Al-Yamoun in Jenin and Al-Doha in the south of Bethlehem and arrested 6 Palestinians.

On Monday, two Palestinians were wounded and 18 others were detained during an attack by Israeli forces on separate areas in the West Bank.

On the other hand, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process expressed concern over the violence in recent months in the occupied territories and Jerusalem, stressing that the violence must stop.

UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tour Wensland expressed concern to the UN Security Council on Monday night about the violence it has witnessed in the occupied West Bank in recent months, including Jerusalem.

He noted that the escalation of violence has been exacerbated by provocative actions and rhetoric.

Wensland said it was important to take immediate steps to reduce tensions and reverse the negative trends that undermine the prospect of a two-state peaceful solution by forming a united, independent and sustainable Palestinian state.

He added that he was deeply concerned about the continuing violence against civilians, which would increase distrust and undermine a peaceful solution to the conflict. Violence must stop and all perpetrators must be held accountable.

According to Palestine Al-Youm news website, many Palestinian groups and organizations in recent weeks have called for a large public presence of Muslims in Al-Aqsa Mosque and prayers with the slogan “Gift of Dignity”.
