فعالیتDevelopment of the activities of the Foundation for the Underprivileged in 2 electricity and oil industries / The Foundation demands 900 billion Tomans from the Ministry of Energy

According to Fars News Agency, quoting the public relations of the Foundation for the Underprivileged, Seyyed Parviz Fattah said at a meeting of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasizing the foundation’s goal for development in two electricity and oil industries: We are looking for downsizing, but in the two oil and electricity industries, due to the country’s need for this field, we seek to reinvest in these two sectors and develop our activities in these areas.

Referring to some problems that have reduced the motivation of investors in the electricity industry, the head of the Foundation for the Underprivileged said: The network is global, but at the same time, unfortunately, despite the fact that we have had this amount of electricity production for the country, most of the blackouts in the field of industries, including the cement and steel industry, have been imposed on the foundation. Supply our industries and give the surplus consumption to the global network.

He said that the electricity required by the foundation’s industries in the summer is about 800 megawatts, adding: the industrial power outage in the summer of this year caused damage equivalent to 4 thousand billion tomans to the industries of the Foundation for the Underprivileged, which is damage to the country.

Criticizing this trend, Fattah said: “This model, which allows us as electricity producers to produce the electricity we need and give the excess consumption to the national electricity distribution network, but in practice, heavy blackouts will be applied to our industries.” It reduces the motivation of various industries to invest in order to develop the production of the electricity industry in the country, and accordingly, this model must be modified.

The head of the Foundation for the Underprivileged said that encouraging investors to invest in the electricity industry requires a reform of the electricity sales rate. It has defined this area as a low-yield industry for producers, and if this rate is corrected, the private sector will be more willing to participate in the investment of this industry.

Referring to the 900 billion Tomans request of the Foundation for the Underprivileged from the Ministry of Energy, he said: “The Ministry of Energy owes 900 billion Tomans for our electricity production, and this also makes the development of this industry difficult for producers.”

The head of the Foundation for the Underprivileged added: During the President’s visit to Lorestan, the Minister of Energy visited the power plant of the Foundation for the Underprivileged in Khorramabad and was informed about the addition of a steam power plant unit to this power plant.یشرفت He thanked in the construction of this unit; The construction of the same gas unit with a capacity of 180 MW will cost 130 million euros.

According to Fattah, despite the goal of the Foundation for the Underprivileged for development in the country’s energy sector, providing infrastructure to encourage investment in this area requires more help from the government and parliamentarians, and economic returns must be provided for investment development in these areas.

Referring to some of the activities of the Foundation for the Underprivileged in the field of oil and gas, he said: “Currently, two drilling rigs of the Foundation for the Underprivileged are active in the sea and in common areas, and all platforms of the Foundation’s land drilling rig in Khuzestan and Bushehr squares.” And other squares in the country are working.

The head of the Foundation for the Oppressed, stating that there are problems in the field of legal issues that have challenged the development of oil and gas fields, added: It is very different from the price that costs contractors due to issues such as inflation.

Referring to the availability of all equipment and drilling rigs of the Foundation for the Underprivileged for the Ministry of Oil, he said: “We are looking to develop our activities in this area in order to meet the needs of the country in this area and even seek to purchase several other drilling rigs. The main thing is to supply Each This equipment requires 200 to 250 million euros.
