In an interview with Mehr, Hamidreza Matie stated: In the first six months of this year, 16,119 births were registered in Golestan, while this number was 16,078 last year.
The Director General of the Golestan Civil Registry added: “Also, 8,547 marriages occurred in the first half of the year in Golestan, and this number was 8,191 in the same period last year.”
According to him, in the first six months of last year, we had 1,993 divorces, which has increased significantly to 2,118.
Matieh said: Preparing a cultural program with the participation of Radio and Television, Culture and Guidance, Islamic propaganda and university capacity, free counseling for marriage and childbearing and housing incentives for couples through the General Directorate of Roads and Urban Development and the Housing Foundation are among the programs of the province’s strategic population council.
