1371 marriage events were registered in South Khorasan – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

In an interview with Mehr, Morteza Amirabadi, referring to the marriage situation in South Khorasan, said: Since the beginning of this year, 1,371 marriages have been registered in the urban and rural areas of the province.
He continued: Out of this amount, 966 marriages were in urban areas and 405 were in rural areas.
Amirabadi announced the average age of men in these marriages as 27 years and eight months and the average age of women as 22 years and 9 months and added: In 157 cases of registered marriages, a man and a woman the same ageIn 1097 cases the man was older than the woman and in 117 cases the woman was older than the man.
The General Director of South Khorasan Civil Registry stated: 88% of the registered marriages were for men at a young age, i.e. between 18 and 35 years old, and this number is 65% for women.
Stating that 28 marriages were registered for elderly men over 60 and five for women in this age range, he said: South Khorasan ranked 11th in the country in terms of marriage rate last year.
Referring to the arrival of the anniversary of the bright marriage of Amirul Momineen (AS) and Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S) and the wedding day, Amirabadi said: The arrival of this day is a great opportunity to culture the immortal life of the pure Imams (S) and to promote easy marriage.
