29 thousand marriages have been registered in West Azerbaijan – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, Moharram Akbarpour said that in the past year, a total of 28,876 marriages were registered in the province, adding that West Azerbaijan ranks fifth in the country in terms of marriage rate.

He continued: According to the latest statistics of this general administration, the average age of marriage in the province has reached 29.7 years, which has increased compared to last year.

The Director General of Civil Registry of West Azarbaijan noted: Also, the average age of marriage among women in West Azarbaijan has reached 24 years.

Akbarpour added: This year, 5,710 marriages were registered in the province, and 1,210 divorces took place during the same period.
