4.5 times more Nowruz travelers visit historical places

According to Fars News Agency, Saeed Ouhadi, Deputy Minister of Management Development and Resources of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, visited the Travel Services Coordination Headquarters; During the visit, which was hosted by Seyed Mostafa Fatemi, Secretary of the Travel Services Coordination Headquarters, he was briefed on the activities of this headquarters in the coming days.

After attending a meeting attended by representatives of the 23 organs of the Travel Services Coordination Headquarters, he received a performance report from these agencies.

He continued: “Last night, we were faced with the peak of accommodation in the provinces and we reached the emergency level in some cities and provinces.” In the cities of Mashhad, Shiraz and Yazd, mosques and prayer rooms were opened to the public and travelers settled in these places.

He continued: At the entrance of the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and Imamzadehs, we witnessed that the people of these cities take travelers to their homes for accommodation, and this sympathy from the people is to be appreciated.

The Secretary of the Travel Services Coordination Headquarters added: “Travel recommendations to attend complementary cities on Nowruz have been welcomed by travelers this year, and we have had the greatest growth between the provinces and the complementary cities of destination in South Khorasan.” We have had the highest growth in terms of passenger and travel in Bushehr province.
