41% decrease in judicial cases in Tehran

Hojjat al-Islam Mossadeq continued: The statement of the second step of the revolution along with the document of judicial transformation is our starting point and guiding light, and the necessary planning should be done based on them.
He stated that at the beginning of this year, 15 axes were notified to the country’s judicial complex by the head of the judiciary as the heads of the judicial programs for this year, and said: Following these 15 axes, the executive plan was also sent to the general justices by the strategic deputy and the first deputy of the judiciary. The country was notified.
The first deputy of the Judiciary, stating that the judiciary of Tehran province is the most important judiciary in the country in terms of the number of cases, stated that between 20 and 25 percent of the country’s judicial cases are in Tehran.
He added: The amount of these cases is not balanced with the number of people handling them, because according to the volume of cases, we should have a judge in each province of Tehran, and this amount is not consistent with each other.
Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mossadegh continued: According to the reports I received, the issue of the strict implementation of the transformation document is being pursued at all levels of justice in Tehran province.
Pointing to the improvement of Tehran province’s ranking in relation to peace and reconciliation cases, he said: the statistical trend and positive performance of judicial cases in the judiciary of Tehran province is desirable, because the result of these measures is the reduction of pending cases in the judicial authorities of Tehran province.
The first deputy of the Judiciary stated that in the five months of this year, a 41% decrease in judicial cases has been recorded in the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office. During the last five months, there has been a 17% decrease in the number of cases in the appeals courts, a 45% decrease in the number of cases in the criminal courts, a 15% decrease in the execution of civil sentences, and a 26% decrease in the execution of criminal sentences.
He added: We must pay attention to the importance of statistics and performance in handling judicial cases, and justice as the duty of a judge should be done correctly. But mere statism is reprehensible and cannot be used as a measure of efficiency.
Hojjat al-Islam Mossadeq stated: In addition to performance statistics and the amount of judicial cases, we must also consider other important indicators in order for a branch or a judge to be successful in carrying out its actions, therefore, carefulness in conducting preliminary investigations and taking time for the case must be done. to be desired by the judges in reviewing the cases. Referring to Jihad for clarification, he said: Jihad for clarification should be done in the judicial system in the best way possible because people should know what actions are being taken in the judiciary.
The first deputy of the Judiciary stated: The head of the Judiciary works day and night, and our judges throughout the country do an important part of their work at home, and this should be explained to the people.
The first deputy of the Judiciary added: “Planning and dealing with social and moral corruption is an important and important matter for the judicial system, and we expect it to be followed seriously in Nahran province.”
