45,000 cars could not be sold | Online Economy

According to Eqtesadonline, quoting the Journalists’ Club, Pir Mohammadi says: about 35% of the valuation is related to electronic electrical components and is not related to the automotive industry.
According to the CEO of Sapco, most of the cars produced last year were commercialized and less than 10% of them were deposited and 8% of them were incomplete, which was transferred to commercial vehicles this year.
So far this year, 380,000 cars have been produced according to plan, of which 335,000 are commercial vehicles. About 45,000 units of Iran Khodro cars have not been commercialized this year.
The number of cars produced in Iran Khodro during the last year was over 501 thousand units, the number of cars that were commercialized and reached the customer was about 470 thousand units.
According to the automakers, the reason for the non-commercialization of parking floor cars is the shortage of microchips that have a global problem. These microchips are related to the electronics industry, which cannot be manufactured in the country.
Automakers from General Motors to the Atlantis and Honda Motors have shut down assembly lines due to chip shortages. Of course, part of this shortcoming stems from the sanctions imposed by the former US administration on Chinese chip factories. Some companies have laid off their employees.
Microchip factories, which are mainly owned by Asian companies and usually produce less advanced chips, have been in short supply due to low investment in recent years. Most of these factories are used to produce car chips.
The Inspector General of Silence Affairs of the National Inspection Agency said that according to the latest statistics, 178,000 defective cars have been accumulated in the parking lots and the impression is that there is a need for a regulatory body to supply parts. Automakers have to sell in advance because of accumulated losses and liquidity problems.
