According to Mehr reporter, today, Saturday, July 24, 1402, the first lasting experience festival was held by the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare. Referring to the social security week, Mirhashem Mousavi, head of the social security organization, said: “The first lasting experience festival has been held in parallel with this week, and today is the day of honoring families and honoring retirees.”
Stating that the position of retirees should be made clear in the governance of social security, he said: This requires a new approach because today retirees are considered important capitals of a country. The results of their actions have led to growth and elevation, and these accumulated experiences are the immediate capacity of the retirees’ body, which is the basis of the country’s growth. Therefore, we can be promoted to a place where we can reflect more on these spiritual capitals.
He continued: “As much as we can highlight the position of retirees in the family element, we will perform better because in Iranian culture, the family element is a civilization builder.”
He stressed: Let’s not forget that the position of veterans in the family cannot be filled by anything and their accumulated knowledge should be the light of the road.
Benefiting again from the experience of retirees
In the continuation of his speech, Mousavi pointed to the 7th Development Plan and said: One of the suggestions of social security is to reuse the capabilities of retirees in activities, and for this service again, another retirement can be considered.
He said: Currently, 50% of the retirements are overdue and according to the law, these people can retire. But we have proposed to reuse this capacity in different production and service sectors and to consider second retirement with other benefits during second service.
The head of the Social Security Organization stated that last year 220 loans were paid by this organization, and stated that the amount of this loan increased from 12 million tomans to 20 million tomans, which is a minimal measure to honor the retirees.
In the end, Mousavi stated that these people should play a role in the upliftment of civilization, and stated: Health should be provided for the people and it is necessary that medical services move towards becoming free for these people.
