According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Jalal Maleki, spokesman for the Tehran Municipality Fire Department, stated about the explosion and destruction in a 4-storey residential building: At 12:16 today, a fire broke out in Javanmardan St., Abshenasan St. Address notified.
He added: “Immediately, the forces of 3 fire stations were sent to the scene of the accident, and it was determined that a severe explosion had taken place in the basement of this building.”
A spokesman for the Tehran Municipality Fire Department noted: 7 people have been injured in this incident, and 3 of them are in critical condition.
