According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Maskani said on Wednesday evening at the regional conference of managers and experts of the cooperative sector of Razavi Khorasan, North Khorasan, Mazandaran, Semnan and Golestan provinces: 90% of the country’s cooperatives are small cooperatives.

He continued: Today, what has made cooperatives survive in the country is primarily the spirit of responsibility and participation of cooperatives, and we at the Ministry of Cooperatives are doing our best to support cooperatives by using all our capacities.

The Deputy Cooperatives Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare stated: In the last year and 6 months, the registration of cooperatives in the country increased by more than two percent, the number of employees in cooperatives increased by more than three percent, the capital of the Cooperative Development Bank increased by 140 percent, and the facilities of the cooperative sector increased by 81 percent. had.

Maskani said: Northern provinces have caused a change in the culture of cooperation.
