96% progress of Shahid Bagheri Highway and Farjam Street intersection bridge

According to the Fars news agency’s urban group, Abbas Shabani, the technical and civil engineering deputy of Tehran Municipality, while announcing this news, said: “Executive operations in the eastern part of the bridge have been accompanied by significant progress, so that the eastern bridge has completed the infrastructure operation and is ready for implementation.” The coating is asphalted. At the same time, the operation of installing handrails, table work and sidewalk construction has been completed, and the geometric correction of the middle refuge of Farjam street in the eastern part has also been completed.

He stated that the infrastructure work of the East-East Roundabout has been completed, and announced the establishment of a mechanized asphalt team for grinding and coating the bypass of Farjam East Street and the East-East Roundabout of this intersection.

The technical and civil deputy of Tehran municipality announced the implementation of the lighting infrastructure network by pointing out that in the bridge deck section, measures such as table work, concreting, sidewalk construction and installation of handrails are being implemented.

Regarding the continuation of executive operations in the western part, announcing the implementation of the necessary preparations for the installation of expansion joints, Shabani said: In the western side of the project, the installation of the cornice has been completed, and tabulation and pavement construction are also being pursued.

Pointing to the importance of surface runoff management in this intersection, Shabani mentioned the construction of a covered cross stream, the improvement of the southern stream of Farjam East Street, and the improvement and leveling of the valves as part of the activities carried out for this purpose.

According to the Deputy Technical and Civil Engineer of Tehran Municipality, the progress of the executive operation of the Shahid Bagheri Highway and Farjam Street intersection bridge has reached 96%.
