A 22-year-old boy earns $ 1 million from selling his NFT selfies!

A 22-year-old Indonesian man recently made $ 1 million selling his personal NFT suite. All the tokens in this collection are simple pictures of his face on different days of the year.

To Report Kevin Telegraph, the Indonesian student, has become a millionaire by selling his NFT collection of selfies in the OpenSea market.

Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali, a 22-year-old computer science student from Semarang, Indonesia, has converted and sold nearly 1,000 of his selfies to NFT. Al-Ghazali said that for five years, from the age of 18 to 22, he took a picture of himself in front of his computer camera. His only goal was to be able to see photos and memories of his graduation in the future.

Al-Ghazali took the photos while sitting or standing in front of his computer and then converted them to NFT and uploaded them to OpenStation in December 2021. The artist had set the price of each NFT at $ 3 and did not expect a purchase for them. His photos are all taken in a very simple way and in none of these images are there any special emotions on his face.

Al-Ghazali addressed the buyers of these NFTs:

You can flip photos horizontally or vertically, align them, or do anything else; But please do not abuse these photos, otherwise my parents will be very disappointed in me. I believe in you, so please be careful with my photos.

Contrary to his expectations, these NFTs became widespread; Prominent members of the digital currency community on Twitter showed their support for the collection by buying and marketing hot for his unparalleled tokens.

As Ghazali’s collection grew in popularity, one of his NFTs went on sale on January 14 for $ 0.247 Atrium, equivalent to $ 806. The 22-year-old helps make his NFTs unique by providing some information along with selfies and defining the story of each image.

According to the Lifestyle Asia website, al-Ghazali Salafi NFTs sold at a price of 0.9 Atrium, equivalent to approximately $ 3,000. Eventually, Ghazali’s total trading volume reached 317 atriums, equivalent to more than $ 1 million. The young artist also made his first tax payment with income from the open market.

Despite the weak performance of the digital currency market in recent weeks, the NFT market and the Chinese blockchain game industry continue to break records in transaction volume.

DappRadar data show that the number of active and unique wallets connected to decentralized NFT-related applications on the Atrium network has grown by about 43% since the third quarter of 2021. In addition, NFT trading revenue rose from $ 10.7 billion in the third quarter of 2021 to $ 11.9 billion in the first ten days of 2022.
