According to the tourism group of Fars News Agency; Handicraft Week and World Handicraft Day programs will start from June 17 and five provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Zanjan, Ardabil and Isfahan will host these events.
On the first day of handicraft week, a press conference will be held in Tehran with the presence of media members.
The special program of World Handicrafts Day will be held in Isfahan with the presence of domestic and foreign guests and officials from the World Handicrafts Council and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.
On Monday, June 22, Ardabil province will host officials from the World Handicrafts Council, as well as the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and the same group will travel to Zanjan province on Tuesday, June 23.
On Wednesday, June 24 of this month, Tehran will host the World Handicrafts Day commemoration program, and on Thursday, June 25, the closing of the second and third steps of the “three-step event” will be held, and an exhibition for the sale of arts and crafts will be opened in Niavaran Palace.
On Friday, June 26, there will be a visit to the workshops of modern artists in Alborz province.
