A new facility was announced for the temporary entry of vehicles

According to Economy Online, a new customs circular aimed at supporting foreign tourists and investors, Iranians living abroad, non-Iranian travelers and residents of free zones has been notified to the country’s customs, and based on this, new facilities for the temporary entry of tourists and capital by car Foreign investors will be presented.

According to this circular, applicants eligible for this facility can enter the country for five months by temporary entry.

Previously, the mentioned period was only two months and if possible and with the agreement of the customs, it would be extended for another three months, but with the determination of the legal time limit set from the beginning and the elimination of the margin of possible corruption, now the applicants upon arrival to the country, they can use the facility of five months of temporary entry of the car into the country.

Also, with the notification of this circular, the restriction of the countries that previously included certain countries has been removed.

According to the mentioned circular, in order to honor the compatriots living abroad, support the tourism industry, decentralization, facilitate the customs procedures and save the time of the customs officials, the authority to issue temporary entry traffic permits or extend the traffic deadline for temporary entry vehicles under The companionship of the customs permit, carne of two passages, triptych and diptych, in full compliance with the provisions of articles 50 and 78 of the Law on Customs Affairs and 72, 80, 142 and 144 of the executive regulations, has been notified to customs all over the country as a table for action.
