A new list of sanctions against American individuals and institutions will be announced by Iran

According to Fars News Agency’s Legal and Judicial Group, Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Chief of Staff for International Affairs of the Judiciary and Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said following the recent US sanctions against some Iranian individuals and legal entities under false pretenses of human rights violations. The US action is a continuation of the same failed policy of maximum pressure against the Iranian nation and the use of sanctions as a tool to achieve political goals.

Gharibabadi added: “How can a regime that, in the words of UN experts and special rapporteurs, imposes unilateral and illegal sanctions on the Iranian people, endanger the fundamental rights of Iranian citizens and deny patients access to medicine and medical equipment, Claim to defend freedom and human rights in Iran ?! This is not acceptable at all and is more like a bitter joke.

“The US regime is the accused in terms of how it treats protesters and peaceful communities, and it must respond to the brutal treatment of domestic police by domestic police,” said the secretary of our country’s human rights staff.
