A review of Kobo Abe’s works in “Hazar To Dastan” by Radio Namayesh – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the public relations of Radio Namayesh, this week’s program “Labyrinth of Stories” will review the works of Kobo Abe on Thursday, March 17th.

Kobo Abe is an avant-garde writer and pioneer, Japanese poet, photographer and director. Japan, the land of the shining sun, went through a dark period during World War II and the experience of the atomic bomb blast, and the impact of this bitter period on the literature of this country and writers such as Kobo Abe was significant. Kubo Abe has been compared to Kafka for his surreal explorations and nightmares, and has been dubbed the Japanese Kafka. Kobo Abe was a physician, but he never practiced, and his concerns led him to write. Kobo Abe’s feeling in his works is completely transnational, he does not only speak of Japan but also has a universal view of man. He has won prestigious awards, including the Akutagawa Prize, and has been mentioned several times as a potential Nobel laureate, but his death has ruled out the possibility.

On Thursday, March 17, at 9 pm in the “Story Labyrinth” program, Behnaz Bostandoust will narrate the story of “irrelevant death” and in the expert section, they will analyze Abe’s works together with Kayhan Bahmani. Narration of the author’s biography is narrated by Reza Omrani and its producer is Jaleh Mohammad Ali.
