“Acceptable” status of 15 air quality measuring stations in Tehran


According to Fars report, according to the latest information from Tehran Air Quality Control Company, from a total of 35 air quality measurement stations, until 11:00 today (May 9), Tarbiat Modares stations (Zone 6), Golberg (Zone 8), Central Municipality of Region 12 and Shadabad (Zone 18) ) with ozone indicator pollutant in unhealthy conditions for sensitive groups.

Also, the air quality in Sharif stations (region 2), municipality of region 11, Masoudiyeh (region 15), Qaim Park (region 18), with a pollutant index of suspended particles less than 2.5 microns, in the municipal station of region 16 with pollutant index of suspended particles Less than 10 microns, in the stations of Mahalati highway (region 9), Fatah square (region 9), municipality of region 19 and municipality of region 21 with ozone index pollutant and in Aqdasiyeh stations (region 1), Ponk, municipality of region 2, Bahran headquarters ( Region 7), Shahrari (Region 20) and Region 22 municipality with nitrogen dioxide index pollutant air quality is in acceptable condition.

The air quality in district 4 municipal station with ozone index pollutant, district 10 municipality with suspended particulate matter index pollutant less than 2.5 microns and in Pirouzi station (region 13) with nitrogen dioxide index pollutant is in a clean state.

Meanwhile, Shadabad (region 18) is the most polluted air quality measurement station in Tehran with an index of 145.

It should be noted that at the stations of Shahid Beheshti University (Zone 1), Sohank (Zone 1), Pasdaran (Zone 3), University of Science and Technology (Zone 4), Tehran University (Zone 6), Geophysics (Zone 6), Razi Park (Region 11), Imam Khomeini Square (Region 12), Shokofe Park (Region 14), Municipality Region 15, Salamat Park (Region 17), Shahrari Governorship (Region 20) and Cheshme Township (Region 22) No information has been registered. .

Of the 14 air quality measuring stations in Tehran belonging to the Environmental Protection Organization, the information of only one station has been published.

It should be noted that Tehran city has 35 air quality measurement stations, of which 14 stations belong to the Environmental Protection Organization and 21 stations belong to the Tehran Air Quality Control Company.
