“Acceptable” status of 19 air quality measurement stations in Tehran


According to Fars report, based on the latest information of Tehran Air Quality Control Company, out of a total of 35 air quality measurement stations today (May 31) in Shadabad station (region 18) with nitrogen dioxide index pollutant and district 19 municipal station with suspended particulate index pollutant less than 10 microns It is in unhealthy condition for sensitive groups.

Air quality in Sharif stations (region 2), region 2 municipality, region 4 municipality, Tarbiat Modares (region 6), crisis headquarters (region 7), region 10 municipality, region 11 municipality, center region 12 municipality, Pirouzi (region 13) and the municipality of region 22 with the pollutant index of suspended particles less than 2.5 microns, in the Golberg station (region 8) with the index pollutant of ozone, in the stations of Maidan Fatah (region 9), Mahalati highway (region 14), municipality of region 16, Shahrari ( Region 20) and Municipality of Region 21 with the pollutant index of suspended particles less than 10 microns, and in the stations of Aqdasiyeh (Region 1), Poonk and Masoudiyeh (Region 15) with the index pollutant of nitrogen dioxide, the air quality is in an acceptable state.

Meanwhile, the 19th district municipality is the most polluted air quality measurement station in Tehran with an index of 123.

It should be mentioned from the stations of Shahid Beheshti University (Zone 1), Sohank (Zone 1), Pasdaran (Zone 3), University of Science and Technology (Zone 4), Tehran University (Zone 6), Geophysics (Zone 6), Razi Park ( Region 11), Imam Khomeini Square (Region 12), Shkoofeh Park (Region 14), Municipality Region 15, Salamat Park (Region 17), Qaim Park (Region 18), Shahreri Governorate (Region 20) and Cheshme Township (Region 22). No information has been registered.

Of the 14 air quality measurement stations in Tehran belonging to the Environmental Protection Organization, the information of none of the stations has been published.

It should be noted that Tehran city has 35 air quality measurement stations, of which 14 stations belong to the Environmental Protection Organization and 21 stations belong to the Tehran Air Quality Control Company.
