According to Fars report, Morteza Moghadami stated: We currently do not have any active production projects and the entire capital is focused on the overhaul of wagons, and last year we overhauled wagons more than the predicted plan of the municipality. It was supposed that according to the fourth transformation plan of Tehran Municipality; 133 wagons were to be renovated, but this number reached 147 wagons.
The CEO of Tehran Wagon Manufacturing Company said: This year, we plan to activate production contracts in parallel with the overhaul of wagons, and this year the contract for 630 wagons will be activated, and the operation of the first unit will take another 18 to 20 months.
Moghadami stated: After 18 months, a total of 630 wagons will be produced and ready for operation within 3 years, and this year we have a plan to overhaul the wagons and 200 units will be renovated by the end of the year.
