Aeker Lake P processor benchmark in Geekbench – 45 and 28 watt models

We are approaching CES 2022 where Intel will soon introduce a new generation of notebook chips and today we will see Benchmark We are Alder Lake P processors in Geekbench.

The Alder Lake P series will replace the Tiger Lake H45 / H35 / UP3 family. These models include up to 14 cores in the highest sample, including 6 Golden Cove cores and 8 Gracemont cores. Models that replace the Tiger Lake U15 series also use 2 Golden Cove cores and 8 Gracemont cores. These chips have GT2 and GT3 graphics configuration, which includes up to 96 executable units.

  • 2 large cores + 8 small cores with GT2 / GT3 GPU (U15 series)
  • 4 large cores + 8 small cores with GT2 / GT3 GPU (U28 series)
  • 6 large cores + 8 small cores with GT2 / GT3 GPU (U28 series)
  • 4 large cores + 8 small cores with GT2 / GT3 GPU (H45 series)
  • 6 large cores + 8 small cores with GT2 / GT3 GPU (H45 series)

Other specifications include support for Thunderbolt 4, PCIe Gen 5.0 and WiFi 6E lines. In terms of memory, the Alder Lake P is capable of supporting both LPDDR5 and DDR5 standards. Most likely, Intel will launch the Alder Lake P with LPDDR5 first, and then we will see the replacement of Tiger Lake H with DDR5 memory.

Reaching the line-up itself, we see six 45-watt (H45) and three 28-watt (U28) models in this revelation. These models include the flagship Core i9 12900HK with 14 20-core cores and 5.0 GHz frequency, Core i7 12800H with 14 20-core cores and 4.9 GHz, Core i7 12700H with 14 20-core cores and frequency up to 4.6 GHz, Corer i7 12650H with 10 cores 16 threads and 4.5 GHz. The Core i5 12500H and Core i5 12450H models also have 12 16-core and 8 12-core cores, respectively.

The Alder Lake P U28 series, however, will feature the Core i7 1280P with 14 20-core cores clocked at 4.7 GHz, the Core i7 1260P with 12 16-core and 4.6 GHz cores, and the Core i5 1240P with the same core configuration but 4.4 GHz boost.
