After 15 years, the Saba Ritual Performance Center project is approaching the final station

According to Fars news agency’s urban group, Ahmed Hemti, the social and cultural deputy of the inspection organization, said: Saba Ritual Performances Center is one of the half-finished cultural-artistic projects of Tehran city, which was established in 2012 in order to develop and enhance traditional and modern performing arts and using It was designed by one of the prominent Iranian architects (Engineer Farhad Ahmadi) from modern technologies, some of which are not available in Tehran showrooms today.

Hemti stated: The cultural and artistic project of Saba has a high architectural and spatial quality, so that if it is opened, it will become one of the valuable and lasting spaces of the city of Tehran in the field of culture and art and one of the important centers of performing arts in Iran.

He added: The center of religious performances of Saba has about 6000 square meters of infrastructure and has theaters, theater practice plateau, Ruhudzi theater, open theater, etc., and most of this complex is built below the ground level to the ground level in the form of The open space at a natural height should become a garden and green space and be available to the citizens as a public space.

Hemmati stated that the Sabah Garden partnership project has been receiving permission from the Municipality of Region 7 since 1384 by the Cultural Spaces Development Company of Tehran Municipality and its ground breaking has been started since 1387. A private contract is concluded, but since 1995, due to contractual disputes and lack of financing by the investor partner, the Aini Saba project has been stopped with more than 70% progress.

The deputy of the inspection organization announced: According to the memorandum of understanding of the year 1401 between the cultural spaces development company and the investor, the costs of the infrastructure and commercial part, which is about 30 billion tomans, were paid by the investor (Farhang Mozafar) and the cost of the cultural part, which is about 100 billion tomans. It is expected to be provided through the municipality and the cultural space development company and according to the opinion of the Article 38 commission, it should be included in the account of the parties.

He added: After settling the disputes of the investors and partners and providing the necessary support, it has been decided that the part related to the main hall of the project will be put into operation by the blessed decade of Fajr.

It should be noted that the Saba Ritual Performances Center is located in District 7 of the Municipality, Shariati St., Serah Pless, and if it is operated, it can become one of the most important cultural projects of the capital and a unique project in the Middle East.
