Air rescue exercise with the aim of preparing for an earthquake in the capital

According to the report of Fars news agency’s urban group, this morning an air rescue exercise aimed at preparing for natural crises, including earthquakes, was attended by Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, Hossein Nazari, the deputy of urban services and environment of Tehran Municipality, and Ali Nasiri, the head of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization. And a group of city managers and media people started.
This exercise has started at around eight o’clock this morning in 16 flight sites of the capital, including airports and hospitals in Tehran, using 6 helicopters, four fixed-wing aircraft and three drones, with the cooperation of 20 devices and organizations.
In the air rescue exercise, measures such as transporting the injured by helicopter, transporting rescuers by helicopter, aerial loading operations, slinging and equipment transfer, aerial firefighting, rotating relief cargo, rescuers and loading rescue vehicles into fixed-wing aircraft are carried out.
