According to the Mehr news agency, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, the captain of the Iranian national football team from the village of Jirandeh in the city of Rudbar in Gilan, was selected as the environmental ambassador of Gilan province.
Jahanbakhsh currently plays for Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Dutch Premier League. He received his sentence by attending the General Department of Environment of Gilan Province.
