He said: “We set up two meetings in the municipality for this project and the distinguished architects of Tehran and the professors agreed that the current plan is not suitable.” In order not to delay this issue, we formed a special team in the municipality to follow up on this issue. For next year, we will consider a good budget and facilities to turn it into a luxury complex, so that this issue will affect the region as well.

We return the city to the citizens

Zakani added: “We have designed a general plan for all of Tehran, and that is that Tehran should be run by the people themselves and centered on the elites.” In each region, form a group of elites and influential people in that region and ask them to give ideas and make decisions and monitor for the city. In addition, decide for their neighborhood and we will support them.

The mayor of Tehran assessed the problems of 353 neighborhoods in Tehran differently and said: “Let mosques be the main center of change in the city.”

He continued: “A plan will be unveiled in the next two months, and that is that each neighborhood will have a park for mothers and children, and they will have a space for education and play.”

Zakani said: to achieve this goal, we have identified 345 parks to be equipped within two months.

The mayor of Tehran also announced the allocation of land in each neighborhood to build housing for young couples and said: “It is up to the elites and the people of the neighborhood to identify these couples.” Therefore, the active group in the city must join hands and take responsibility for the work.
