Amazing update: VivoBook Pro 15 OLED laptop with Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4060 and 5MP webcam!

Asus Co VivoBook Pro 15 OLED (N6506) laptop It launched its upgrade at the 2024 CES event. The new VivoBook Pro 15 laptop offers Intel’s Core Ultra 9 185H processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 graphics with a dedicated MUX switch. Asus plans to bring its DialPad, previously only available on the VivoBook Pro X products, to the VivoBook Pro 15.

DialPad is a feature that allows users to have finer control over audio inputs and audio settings using a special touch panel (known as DialPad). This feature allows users to directly and quickly access the audio settings and have more precise control over the volume level and other audio settings.

Asus last introduced the VivoBook Pro 15 laptop in 2022, while the VivoBook Pro 16 and VivoBook Pro 16X versions were launched in 2023. As mentioned at this year’s CES event, the VivoBook Pro 15 laptops were launched with Intel’s Meteor Lake processors and improved OLED displays.

Specifications of Asus VivoBook Pro 15 OLED laptop

Asus seems to be merging the Pro and Pro X versions under a single Pro name this year. This device provides the ability to install Intel’s Core Ultra 9 185H Meteor Lake processor. It also has the ability to install Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 laptop graphics card with a dedicated MUX switch. Asus claims that its IceCool Pro cooling system allows users to take advantage of the 125-watt power consumption of the processor and graphics card at the same time in stressful situations.

The VivoBook Pro 15 laptop can be configured with up to 24GB of DDR5 5600 RAM and an NVMe SSD of up to 2TB. This means that 8 GB are soldered on board and only one SO DIMM is available for memory expansion. Asus has equipped this laptop with Asus Lumina OLED panel with 3K 120Hz frequency. The company did not specify the parameters of the display, but it claims a response time of 0.2 milliseconds.

Similar to the VivoBook Pro X models, the new VivoBook Pro 15 uses the Asus DialPad for easy control of creative applications. DialPad functionality currently supports Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom Classic, Illustrator and After Effects.

The VivoBook lineup has never failed to deliver a decent selection of ports, and the same is true for the new VivoBook Pro 15 edition. The laptop has an HDMI 2.1 output, full-size SD card slot, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A. Additionally, there is a 5-megapixel webcam with 3D temporal noise reduction and adaptive brightness.

It should be noted that the price and availability of the Asus VivoBook Pro 15 OLED N6506 laptops have not been revealed yet.
